The Director General of the International Millitary Staff (DGIMS) NATO, LTG Janusz Adamczak, as a part of his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited PSOTC. The PSOTC Commandant, Col Elvedin Omić welcomed the guestes. LTG Janusz Adamczak used this opportunity to deliver a presentation about the scope of NATO work to the members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina from PSOTC, Support Command, and Operational Command. In his presentation, LTG Adamczak covered current NATO overview with a focus on current challenges, mostly in connection with the Ukrainian crises as well as to the threats from terrorist organizations. Also, this visit was used as well to brief the guest about the importance of the center itself as a NATO-accredited institution that conducts seven NATO-certified courses through active participation in seven academic disciplines of education and training of the NATO Command for Transformation, as well as the position of the PSOTC within the Defense System of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Overall conclusion of the visit was that LTG Adamczak was impressed with the PSOTC’s achievements where he emphasized that PSOTC with its accreditations and mission has been already part of NATO. In addition, in upcoming period, it will be analyzed how PSOTC can enlarge its contribution to NATO.
