Visit of the NATO HQ Brussels Delegation to PSOTC

Today, 22 October 2024, the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina had the honor of hosting a delegation from NATO Headquarters Brussels, Operations Division, led by Mr. Christophe Lhomme.

The PSOTC's Commandant, Lieutenant Colonel Damir Alibašić, along with his team, warmly welcomed the NATO delegation. During their visit, the guests received a comprehensive briefing on the history, mission, and key educational and training activities of PSOTC.

 

Following the briefing, a productive discussion ensued, focusing on ongoing and potential areas for future cooperation between NATO HQ Brussels and PSOTC. The discussions particularly highlighted training within the Building Integrity (BI) Programme and the Defence and Related Security Capacity Building (DCB) Initiative. The delegation expressed their appreciation for PSOTC’s significant contributions to BI and DCB, underscoring the importance of PSOTC’s NATO-certified courses and the Centre’s support to NATO partner countries in the realm of training.

 

This visit further solidified the partnership and cooperation between PSOTC, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and NATO, particularly within the crucial frameworks of the BI and DCB programmes.
