Visit of the Croatian War College “Ban Josip Jelačić” Delegation to PSOTC and EUFOR

On December 4, 2024, the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) and the European Union Force in Bosnia and Herzegovina (EUFOR) had the privilege of hosting a delegation from the Croatian War College “Ban Josip Jelačić.” Led by Colonel Nenad Samardžić, the Head of the College, the group comprised 12 students who were participating in their Field Study Program.

Upon their arrival at the PSOTC, the delegation received a warm welcome from EUFOR's Deputy Commander (DCOM), Brigadier General Lorenzo Dal Maso, and PSOTC Commandant, Lieutenant Colonel Damir Alibašić. Brigadier General Dal Maso delivered a detailed briefing on EUFOR's mission, activities, and its vital contributions to the stability and security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, followed by an engaging Q&A session. Lieutenant Colonel Alibašić then provided insights into the history, mission, ongoing activities, accomplishments, and future plans of the PSOTC. He highlighted the Centre's essential role within the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its importance in preparing military, civilian, and police personnel for Peace Support Operations (PSO). The visit concluded with an informative tour of the PSOTC facilities.

 This event served as an excellent opportunity for exchanging insights and enhancing professional relationships, underscoring the significance of collaboration between educational and training institutions that promote peace and security.
