The UN Tactical Protection of Civilians in PSO Course commenced today, 7th May 2018 at PSOTC.

The course is going to be conducted from 7th to 11th May 2018 with participation of 17 students from different countries. The aim of the Course is to provide the key personnel/HQs deploying on UN PKO with a shared understanding of basic elements of UN Protection of Civilians (POC), the importance of POC for the mission success, and how to integrate the military and other agencies' efforts regarding POC in a contemporary multidimensional PKO. Students on the UN Tactical Protection of Civilians in PSO Course are coming from: BiH, Albania, Italy, Macedonia, and Serbia. The PSOTC Chief of training and education department, LTC Zoran Pepić, addressed participants on the opening ceremony. He emphasized importance of each individual course and in particular the importance of integration different mission components during the pre-deployment training process.
