The Prevention of Sexual Violence in Conflict – Train-the-Trainer Seminar was conducted in coordination with the Ministry of Security BiH and support of the Ministry of Defense BiH, the British Embassy in Sarajevo, and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Sarajevo. The aim of the seminar was to increase awareness and improve knowledge of the Gender Focal Points from the Ministry of Defense BiH, the Armed Forces of BiH, and the Ministry of Security BiH as well as to provide conceptual understanding between gender perspectives and prevention of sexual violence in conflict with the focus on PSO. As it mentioned on the closing ceremony by the PSOTC Commandant, the Assistant Minister of Defense for International Cooperation, the UK DA, and Norwegian Ambassador to BiH this seminar is very important part of the Prevention of Sexual Violence Initiative and one of steps where Bosnia and Herzegovina is fulfilling NATO Partnership Goal on Gender Perspectives.
