Mr. McCarthy was briefed by the Commandant, Colonel Jasmin Čajić, and his staff on recent developments at the PSOTC. This included detailed discussions on the PSOTC’s ground-breaking work on developing new training material for the prevention of sexual violence on peace support operations. In the course of the talks Mr. McCarthy and Colonel Čajić identified several new areas for future cooperation and support between the UK and Bosnia Herzegovina which will result in an even closer working partnership. The visit concluded with a brief stop in the PSOTC auditorium to observe the delivery of the first ever Prevention of Sexual Violence Train the Trainer instruction package.
