The PSOTC Commandant Visit to the Peacekeeping Operations Centre of the Serbian Armed Forces

From 20th to 21st February 2014, the PSOTC Commandant, Col Jasmin Čajić, visited the Peacekeeping Operations Center (PKOC) of the Serbian Armed Forces in Belgrade.

During visit, Col Čajić had a meeting with the Head of PKOC, Col Milivoje Pajović and his staff, and also had the opportunity to visit training capacities of the PKOC and to observe the conduct of the PSO Staff Officers and Staff NCOs Orientation Course, which took place in the PKOC from 10th to 21st February with support of the Mobile Training Team from PSOTC. During the meeting, Col Čajić and Col Pajović have mainly discussed on possibilities for future cooperation between two Centers, which included: continuance of engagement of the PKOC representative to PSOTC, possibility to appoint one PSOTC representative to PKOC, participation of PKOC training officers to PSOTC Mobile Training Teams in partner countries, and the need to establish institutional framework for cooperation between two Centers through bilateral military cooperation and appropriate agreements between two respective ministries. On 21st February, Col Čajić took part in closing ceremony of the PSO Staff Officers and Staff NCOs Orientation Course, when 27 students from the Serbian Armed Forces received certificates for successfully completing this course.
