This planning meeting has gathered more than 30 members of the Executive Committee, which comprises of military, police, civilian and academic organization members from around the world. At the very beginning of the Meeting, the Deputy Commander of the AF Support Command for operations Brigadier General Marko Stojčić has addressed the assembly on behalf of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. “Although BiH itself is a post-conflict country, its institutions, including the BiH Armed Forces, have been working hard to implement necessary reforms in our country, which made Bosnia and Herzegovina a well-respected partner, contributing to the peace and stability in the crisis areas of the world”, said BG Stojčić. The Commander of the Peace Support Operations Training Center (PSOTC) of AF BiH and the host of this year IAPTC Annual Conference Colonel Jasmin Čajić has said that this meeting presents a kind of test for the AF BiH and BiH as hosts of the 22^nd IAPTC Annual Conference and it will help them to improve their performance and prepare themselves even better for the upcoming Conference. After the introductory part of the meeting, the current president of the IAPTC and the last-year host of the IAPTC Annual Conference Lieutenant General Glaucio Alves has expressed his expectations for a fruitful and great meeting this week and afterwards he introduced the members of the Executive Committee with the report and overview related to the 21^st Annual Conference held in Brazil in 2015. The members of the EC continue with their work till Thursday 19 May 2016, when it is planned to have the determined theme and the program of the 22^nd IAPTC Annual Conference.
