The aim of the course is to prepare/train key leaders and trainers of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia to concept and doctrine related to counterinsurgency operations in order to create a framework of understanding of the differences between counterinsurgency and conventional warfare and to introduce COIN definitions and principles. The course is being conducted in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia from 6th to 10th October 2014 for 19 NCOs and officers of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia. On behalf of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, Col Zoran Dedevski, Chief of J-7/ the Army of the Republic of Macedonia General Staff addressed participants where he emphasized importance and actuality of the course topic and the need for exchange of experiences between two armed forces. On behalf of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and PSOTC, LtC Ismet Kadić, Chief of MTT, appreciated for the hospitality emphasizing good cooperation between the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina including PSOTC and the Army of the Republic of Macedonia with a clear intent to continue this kind of cooperation in the future.
