On 22 January 2026, members of the Military Diplomatic Association accredited in Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by the Association’s Dean and Defence Attaché of the Slovak Republic, Colonel Milan Skrutek, visited the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The visit was conducted as part of the Association’s regular programme of engagements with various elements of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, aimed at strengthening professional cooperation and fostering mutual understanding. The PSOTC Commandant, Colonel Damir Alibašić, together with his staff, welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of the Centre’s mission, history, and ongoing as well as planned activities.
Following the briefing, discussions focused on opportunities for enhancing future cooperation, particularly in the areas of instructor exchange and student recruitment from partner countries. The visit also served to highlight several ongoing PSOTC projects conducted in cooperation with countries whose defence attachés were part of the delegation.
International cooperation remains a cornerstone of PSOTC’s development, enabling the exchange of expertise, and strengthened interoperability with partner armed forces. Through active engagement with regional and global partners, PSOTC continuously improves the quality of its courses and reinforces Bosnia and Herzegovina’s contribution to international peace and security efforts.
