The SEEGROUP delegation visited PSOTC as their annually planned activity. This visit is included at SEEGROUP annual calendar in pursuit to gain experience from Peace Support Operations Training Centre. The SEEGROUP as the part of the NATO’s South East Europe Initiative has the aim to promote regional cooperation and long-term stability in the Balkans. According to NATO Secretary General Lord Robertson: "The region must be given a perspective of re-joining the European mainstream - because the clearest lesson of the past 50 years is that integration breeds trust, stability and prosperity."

The first part of the visit included an introduction and welcome by Commandant PSOTC Colonel Dr. Jasmin Čajić followed by a detailed briefing about the structure, role, mission, capabilities and future plans of PSOTC. During the second part of the visit the delegates of the SEEGROUP had the chance to see some of the key installations and facilities of PSOTC related to the operational capabilities and they were informed about the higher readiness status of the PSOTC. Concluding the visit, PSOTC Commandant expressed his gratitude and his appreciation for the productive discussion between the staff of the SEEGROUP and PSOTC during the visit.
