The Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina recently hosted a distinguished delegation from the South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG), led by Brigadier General Bilbil Bitri, Commander of SEEBRIG. This visit marks a significant step forward in strengthening regional cooperation and improving interoperability in peace support operations.

During the engagement, Brigadier General Bitri and his delegation received a warm welcome from the PSOTC leadership and were provided with an overview of the Centre's mission, training initiatives, and contributions to international peace support efforts, presented by PSOTC’s Commandant, Colonel Damir Alibašić. Key discussions focused on advancing collaboration in areas such as multinational training and capacity building for peace support operations.

Both parties reaffirmed their shared dedication to fostering stability and security in the region through knowledge exchange and collaborative training efforts. Brigadier General Bitri underscored SEEBRIG's essential role as a multinational formation within the South-Eastern Europe Defence Ministerial (SEDM) process, highlighting its commitment to participating in UN or OSCE-mandated NATO or EU-led conflict prevention and peace support operations.

The visit concluded with a constructive discussion about future joint initiatives, including participation in upcoming training events aimed at enhancing interoperability among armed forces in the region.
