Today, 15th July 2016, the Chief of Joint Staff of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lieutenant General Anto Jeleč, organized a reception to PSOTC staff led by the PSOTC Commandant, Col Dr. Jasmin Čajić in order to recognize achievements of PSOTC regarding accreditation of UN Courses by UNDPKO.

This recognition makes PSOTC honoured but also obliged to continue in the same direction, enhancing the standards and quality of delivering training and education in PSOTC. As a result of that process, UN Peacekeeping Pre-deployment Training Standards have been applied in different aspects of PSOTC work. Earlier, in March 2016, the UNDPKO representative LtC Ajay Dogra (IND-A) made on-site evaluation confirming that established standards and criteria were in accordance with relevant UN publications. Two months later, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations, Mr. Hervé Ladsous, confirmed by his signature the Certificates of Training Recognition for two PSOTC courses, the United Nations Police Course and the United Nations Military Experts on Mission Course. This is not only recognition for the MoD and Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also obligation to maintain this level of quality of education and training in PSOTC in order to justify the trust UN invested in PSOTC.
