Peace Support Operations Training Center (PSOTC) Mobile Training Team (MTT) delivered Building Integrity in PSO Orientation Course (BIPSOC) to members of Colombian Ministry of Defense, Armed Forces and National Police in Bogota (Colombia), from 05th to 08th September 2017.

The MTT was deployed to South America for the first time in support of NATO Building Integrity (BI) Programme, in which PSOTC is an implementing partner. The aim of the course was to raise awareness on possible sources of corruption on PSO missions and possible role of security forces in addressing corruption on PSO, in order to reduce its impact on the host nation and the overall mission success.
Together with international experts, the PSOTC MTT, consisting of LTC Robert Beljan, LTC Omšo Hasić, MAJ Damir Alibašić and SGM Igor Lajić was part of a larger combined team of trainers under the auspices of NATO BI Programme. They delivered the Building Integrity in PSO Orientation Course for 96 members of the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces and the National Police of the Republic of Colombia. This training event was a great opportunity for exchanging experiences and establishing closer cooperation among representatives of the NATO BI Programme, PSOTC and DANTE (Dirección de Aplicación de Normas de Transparencia del Ejército - Directorate for the Application of National Army Transparency Standards), the leading building integrity agency of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Colombia.
