For the last two days 25th to 26th February 2016, NATO SACT Quality Assurance Team of Experts, LtC Christos Andritsos, Commander Liviu STRAMBEANU, and LtC Matti Ylinen, has gone through evaluation of Quality Management System in PSOTC of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to make the evaluation for the acquisition of institutional accreditation of PSOTC. As a result of this process PSOTC as education and training facility seeking NATO accreditation has to establish, maintain, and review internal processes and procedures to ensure set up seven NATO standards. The aim of the Quality Assurance (QA) On-site Visit by NATO HQ Team of Experts (ToE) is to determine if PSOTC meets the established standards and criteria in education and training in accordance with relevant NATO publications in order to earn Institutional Accreditation. In accordance with NATO reference “The Institutional accreditation requires an Education and Training Facility (ETF) to demonstrate the existence of an effective Quality Management System as well as to provide evidence of their contribution to NATO. HQ SACT/JFT assembles and leads a Quality Assurance Team of Experts (ToE) and relies on their recommendations to accredit ETFs.” During the NATO SACT QA ToE visit, PSOTC has an opportunity to host representatives of MoD BiH, JS AF BiH and TRADOC AF BiH as their support to the process of accreditation. Also, PSOTC was honored to host Support Command of AF BiH Commander, MG Husein Tursunović, NATO HQ Sarajevo Commander, BG Giselle Wilz, and TRADOC of AF BiH Commander, Col Ilija Petrović who presented to the NATO SACT QA Team of Experts unconditional support PSOTC has from mentioned commands.
