The aim of MMPSOBC is to provide students with essential knowledge that addresses the opportunities and challenges associated with media presence in Peace Support Operations. Additionally, the course offers a chance to gain vital skills necessary for effectively leveraging Public Affairs in dynamic operational environments.
Thirty-six participants from AF BiH, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, faculties from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as from 9 partner countries have attended MMPSOBC. Completing this course signifies a step forward in fostering stronger cooperation, mutual understanding, and shared expertise among the armed forces, state institutions, education and training facilities from Bosnia and Herzegovina and partner countries, and international organizations.
During the course closing ceremony, attended by distinguished guests from the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo and the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, PSOTC Commandant, Lieutenant Commandant Damir Alibasic, mentioned that one of the most significant advantages of MMPSOBC was the invaluable networking opportunity. Furthermore, he expressed sincere appreciation to PSOTC’s esteemed partner institutions and organizations for their support: the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo as the co-organizer of the course, the Office for Defence Cooperation (ODC) of the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Hellenic Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Centre (MPSOTC), and NATO HQ Sarajevo.
By conducting MMPSOBC, PSOTC, AF BIH, and the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the support of partners, contributes to the peace and security activities of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the global level.
