12 students in total (7 from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and 5 from abroad – Albania, Georgia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and United Kingdom) participated at the PSO Staff NCO Course. As a result of the course, selected NCOs are trained in NATO practices and procedures enabling them to operate in interagency working environment and support staff functions in national posts or multi-national employments / deployments across the full spectrum of military operations.
The final week of this education process was reserved for the Building Integrity for Senior NCO Course. Besides aforementioned 12 participants from the PSOSNCOC additional 11 international students (Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldavia, and Ukraine) attended the BI for Senior NCO Course. The aim of the Course is to raise awareness of corruption and promote integrity by strengthening the leadership and management skills of the Senior NCOs in order to enhance their professionalism, competency and effectiveness in national and multinational working environment. Besides PSOTC staff, Subject Metter Experts from USA, Hungary, and Denmark shared their knowledge and experience during the courses.
As the final step of the course, the closing ceremony happened on 14th July 2017 and attended by the PSOTC Chief of Staff, LtC Zoran Batarilo and NATO HQ Sarajevo Command Sergeants Major CSM David Nunn. In accordance with the results achieved during the course, SGT Richard Wooderson from British Armed Forces is declared as the best student.
