The Aim of the Course is to provide participants with an understanding of applying a gender perspective in the security sector and the importance of application of gender perspective on Peace Support Operations, as well as of Prevention Sexual Violence in Conflict. The NATO Approved Utility of Gender in PSO Course is attended by 36 participants from 12 countries (Afghanistan, Algeria, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jordan, North Macedonia, Moldova, Qatar, Tunisia, Turkey, and USA). Besides PSOTC staff, the course is supported by instructors from the University of Sarajevo, Ministry of Security of BiH, US Embassy in Sarajevo, British Ministry of Defense, and EUFOR.
