Multinational Staff Course Concludes at the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC)
The Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BiH) marked the successful completion of the Multinational Staff Course on 13 February 2026 with an official closing ceremony.
Over the past three weeks, the course strengthened the knowledge and competencies of staff officers and non-commissioned officers (NCOs) operating at the tactical level. A total of twenty-two participants from the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AF BiH), six partner nations, NATO HQ Sarajevo, and EUFOR completed the demanding training programme.
Throughout the course, participants benefited from the expertise of PSOTC instructors and distinguished international guest lecturers. These contributors represented renowned institutions, including the Croatian International Military Operations Centre (IMOC), the Hungarian Defence Forces Military Training Centre (HDF MTC), the US Office of Defence Cooperation (US ODC), and the Italian Army Post Conflict Operations Study Centre (PCOSC). Their engagement enriched the multinational learning environment and advanced interoperability and operational effectiveness among participating nations and organisations.
During the closing ceremony, PSOTC Commandant Colonel Damir Alibašić addressed the graduates, underscoring the course's primary aim: to develop key staff competencies for the effective tactical execution of land operations in multi-domain environments. He expressed sincere appreciation to international partners for their valuable support and expertise, and highlighted the importance of fostering professional networks among officers and NCOs from different countries and organisations.
The successful completion of the Multinational Staff Course represents another step toward strengthening cooperation, interoperability, and shared expertise between AF BiH and its international partners, further contributing to collective efforts focused on peace, security, and stability.
