Major General Reinhard Trischak, Deputy Commander of the Multinational Joint Headquarters Ulm, as an honoured guest of Module 2 of the Regional Strategic Leadership Course (RSLC) organised by the Austrian National Defence Academy with support from the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, visited PSOTC on 23 September 2025.

The delegation from the „Ulm Command“, led by Major General Trischak, former EUFOR Commander, was warmly welcomed by PSOTC Commandant Colonel Damir Alibašić, who provided a detailed briefing on the Centre focusing on new challenges in education and training for peace support operations. Discussions focused on the changing security environment and the importance of tailoring training programmes to address emerging threats and operational needs.

Overall, the visit emphasised the strong partnership between PSOTC and partner education and training facilities from Austria and Germany, highlighting their mutual commitment to advancing collective security operations training.

The visit of Major General Trischak and his team to PSOTC further highlights the importance of international cooperation in promoting peace and security.
