Recognizing the significance of cooperation with partners in maintaining international peace and security throughout the world and the role and weight of relevant education and training for future Peace Support Operations, on annual basis Ministry of Defence of BiH organizes a meeting with existing and potential partners of PSOTC willing to support the Center throughout the partnership. The purpose of the meeting is to inform partners on PSOTC achievements in 2015 and 2017, to discuss the plans for 2018 and consider the concept of future cooperation in terms of educational and training function of PSOTC in the field of Peace Support Operations for AF BiH service members, Ministry of Security of BiH members and civilian employees from BiH institutions. Besides the Chairman Mr. Zoran Šajinović, Assistant Minister of Defence for International Cooperation of the meeting and the host of the meeting, Colonel Dr. Jasmin Čajić, the PSOTC Commandant, opening ceremony was augmented by presence of  Mr. Sead Jusić, the Deputy Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Mr. Adem Spahić, Assistant Minister for Policy and Plans.

The main themes for this year's "Friends of PSOTC" meeting were:

1. Discussion on the establishment of mechanisms for cooperation and support to PSOTC. The meeting was an opportunity for the partners to declare their intent to support PSOTC as well as their commitment to participate in various forms of projects delivered by PSOTC.

2. Exchange of information on the results that PSOTC achieved in the previous period and plans for 2018.

The Deputy Minister of Defence, Mr. Sead Jusić in his opening speech, emphasised how this conference is important to MoD of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because it is forum that maintains continuity of international support to PSOTC after its transition and full integration into the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina organizational structure. Also he expressed his gratitude to the commitment of participants, their respective countries and organisations to continue cooperation and support to PSOTC.

Assistant Minister for International Cooperation Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Zoran Šajinović, expressed his appreciation for participation on this event. Also, he emphasized plans of the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period of 2018 to 2025 in order to achieve full NATO operability.
