This was Sr. COL Xingjiang Liu first official visit to PSOTC in capacity of the Defence Attaché of the People’s Republic of China. The OPCOM Deputy Commander for Resources, BG Ivica Jerkić and the PSOTC Commandant, Col Jasmin Čajić welcomed guests at PSOTC. Honored guest were informed about activities PSOTC is delivering during 2013 as well as about planned activities in 2014. This visit was initiated during official visit of the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Ministry of Defence of the People’s Republic of China. In regards to mutual cooperation in the field of PSO concluded on the strategic level during the visit of Ministry of Defence, the Defence Attaché Sr. COL Xingjiang Liu visited PSOTC to exchange ideas about future cooperation and other areas of cooperation on operational as well as on tactical level. Both sides agreed that this visit is only a first step and a bridge to establish wider cooperation between two centers, from both armed forces, with a focus on UN led operations. Two centers are going to exchange visits during 2014 on commandant’s level as well as staff level. The Defence Attaché Sr. COL Xingjiang Liu emphasized the PSOTC role and influence not only within the Western Balkan region, but also wider covering many aspects on the field of training for PSO. He also gave a focus where two centers can cooperate by explaining the role of the center from the Armed Forces of the People’s Republic of China. By old say “Actions Speak Louder than Voices” the Defence Attaché Sr. COL Xingjiang Liu gave a course of action for both centers.
