Closing Ceremony of the United Nations Staff Officers Course

For the last three weeks PSOTC conducted the United Nations Staff Officers Course. The UNSOC Closing ceremony was held on 16th November 2018 at Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC)

The course aim was to prepare experienced military staff officers for UN Integrated/Multidimensional Peacekeeping Operations so they can work effectively at Force and Sector HQs levels in UN peacekeeping missions. All together, 11 officers from 3 different countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine and Macedonia) successfully accomplished the course. The United Nations Staff Officers Course fulfilled its aim and the course standards were met where all participants gained the knowledge which will help them in the future peacekeeping mission. Besides PSOTC staff, instructors from Croatia, Serbia, and Sweden assisted in lecture delivery of the course. On the graduation ceremony, students were addressed by the PSOTC Commandant, Colonel Edin Bajramović who congratulated them and wished them luck in their future work.
