The UN Tactical Protection of Civilians Course fulfilled its aim and the course standards were met where all participants gained the knowledge which will help them in the future peacekeeping mission.
With this knowledge, the course participants have gained a shared understanding of basic elements of UN Protection of Civilians (POC), the importance of POC for the mission success, and how to integrate the military and other agencies' efforts regarding POC in a contemporary multidimensional PKO. All together, 16 students from different countries (BiH, Albania, Italy, Macedonia, and Serbia) successfully finished the course. On the graduation ceremony, students were addressed by the PSOTC Commandant, Colonel Edin Bajramović who congratulated them and wished them luck in their future work. Besides the Commandant, the representative of international students LTC Natasha Jakimovska as well as the representative students from Bosnia and Herzegovina Senior Sergeant Anton Drmić addressed the audience. They used this opportunity to emphasize importance of this course, knowledge gained during the course, and as the most important the friendship the students found in PSOTC.
