The QA Forum encourages networking and fostering active cooperation within the Quality Assurance (QA) Community of Interest (COI). The key objectives include strengthening synchronization and interoperability within the NATO QA Programme, contributing to strategic development to address upcoming challenges, finalizing the QA Work Program 2025, and sharing Lessons Learned and Best Practices from recent accreditation and re-accreditation on-site visits.
The opening ceremony featured remarks from Rear Admiral Placido Torresi, the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) Multi-Domain Force Development Directorate (MDFD) at Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT), Mr. Zoran Assistant Šajinović, the Assistant of the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina for International Cooperation, Lieutenant Colonel Damir Alibašić, PSOTC Commandant, and Major Oliver Wild, HQ SACT QA Section Head. They all emphasized the significance of this Forum in enhancing NATO collective training standards and fostering collaboration to prepare for future projects that effectively influence NATO E&IT.
One of the main topics of the NATO QA Forum is „Digital tools, programs, and portals to simplify and strengthen QA work,” covered by Major Radu Balanescu, Quality Assurance Specialist in Education and Training within the SACT HQ QA Section. He pointed out the importance of using Artificial Intelligence (IA) technology in QA, presenting some practical tools developed by the HQ SACT QA Section.
Participants include Quality Managers or Heads of QA from institutionally accredited NATO ETFs or those preparing for accreditation within the NATO QA Programme. Representatives from selected applicants attend the Forum, with the Allied Command Transformation (ACT) QA Team of Experts (ToE) providing support and guidance.
PSOTC, as a NATO institutionally accredited ETF, fully contributes to the NATO Quality Assurance Community of Interest (QA COI) activities.
