Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Cuca was born in Mostar in 1977.
LTC Cuca's educational background includes military and civilian education. He graduated from the Military Academy, Belgrade and he holds M.Sc. in Security Science from the University in Belgrade. He completed Advanced Security Studies at the George C. Marshall Europen Center for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Command - Staff Course at L'École d'état-major in Saumur, France, Higher Education Trainee Course at Defence Academy in Shrivenham, NATO Instructor Course, and other courses in the area of peace support operations, media management etc.
LTC Cuca performed various duties from tactical to strategic level in the field of operations, security, international cooperation and training, including years of experience in working in international environment. He served as a staff officer in NATO ISAF missioon in Afganistan and as staff officer in the EU Training Mission in the Central African Republic.
He speaks English and French.
