The Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) had the honour of hosting a distinguished delegation from the National Defence University (NDU) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 23 June 2026, as part of their official study visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The delegation, led by Air Commodore Syed Asghar Abbas Bukhari, was warmly received upon arrival by the PSOTC Commandant, Colonel Damir Alibašić, who extended a cordial welcome on behalf of the Centre. The visit was conducted in a constructive and professional atmosphere, reflecting the strong spirit of international cooperation and shared commitment to peace support operations. During their visit, the NDU representatives were provided with a comprehensive briefing outlining the mission, history, and organisational development of PSOTC, along with detailed insights into its current training programmes and future development plans. Particular emphasis was placed on the Centre’s role in delivering internationally recognized education and training aimed at enhancing the capabilities of military, police and civilian personnel engaged in peace support operations.
This visit highlights the importance of international academic and military cooperation in strengthening shared understanding and advancing collective efforts in maintaining peace and security. Through such engagements, PSOTC continues to reaffirm its commitment to fostering knowledge exchange, partnership building, and professional excellence in the field of peace support operations.
