PSOTC conducts each year a number of courses and seminars in our new modern building with sophisticated audio-visual facilities. Details of these activities can be found on our Courses and Seminar pages.
Alumni

Facilities
All instruction has IT and audio visual support using Microsoft PowerPoint (the PSOTC IT system works on Windows XP and Office 2003). Each syndicate room (the building has five in total) has a digital projector, a visualiser and a computer linked to the intranet/internet.
The main auditorium has twin screens either side of a central podium with audio support to the speaker and the ability to display PowerPoint slides and digital video through the podium computer. This computer is linked into the intranet and can receive presentations direct from other computer terminals in the Centre. Laptops with USB connections can be linked directly to the podium reproduction system. There is a simultaneous translation facility with a translator kiosk and 40 remote receivers. Two separate single offices are available for visiting lecturers if required.

Student Costs
Although tuition at the PSOTC will be free, nations providing students will be expected to cover the pay and allowance for their students as well as transport costs to and from the course. There will also be a small charge for food and accommodation as required.
