The 8th Management Board Meeting was on 5th March 2008 in the PSOTC Premises in Camp Butmir. Thirteen partners nations were represented at the meeting together with representative from BiH Ministry of Defence.

The war in Bosnia-Herzegovina may seem ancient history in today’s attention-deficit-span world, given that the last major hostilities took place in 1995. But keeping tensions contained in the small Balkan nation has never ceased, and Europe and the U.S. maintain a constant peacekeeping force. To raise the quality of the officer corps in Bosnia and other regional nations, the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) was formed in 2005 in Sarajevo. The PSOTC is a multinational initiative funded by 12 nations and has been headed since January by Danish Brig. Gen. Michael Lollesgaard. He recently spoke to the goals of the training center with TSJ European correspondent Tim Mahon.
